El Salvador: Day 3

Today was our first day of work! At the Piñera we continued work on a church we started building a few years back. We carried a bunch of supplies up the hill to the church before we could start. The jobs worked throughout the day were grinding welded spots, drilling holes in concrete, painting the things we grinded, Ryan and I cut rebar, they put those in the concrete holes, and some welding. I held one of the little girls for a long time before we left for lunch. When we got back there was more I felt I could actually do, so I worked a bunch of jobs then. It was a great day! For dinner we had a food that may become my favorite over the pupusas! I don’t know what it is called, but there will be a picture below.
