Sri Lanka Day 1

Today is the day! Our small team, of about fifteen people, is leaving today. I am so excited to get to know and love on the people of Sri Lanka!!! We leave this evening on a flight to our layover in Dubai. The flight is approximately fourteen and a half hours. Our layover will be seven hours, but I have not decided if I will leave the airport for a couple hours to explore Dubai. When we arrive in Dubai it will be night time, so I think we would only do a drive to see the landmarks. Considering I have been there before I will see how I feel after the flight. Then we will fly to Sri Lanka! This flight will be easy. It is only about four and a half hours. That is less that a third of the time the first flight took.
