Uganda 2017 Day 15

Today was pretty uneventful full. We left the safari lodge early in the morning. On our way out we saw a bunch of giraffe, a couple elephants, and a couple for the red monkeys. Of course we saw a ton of Cobb, water buffalo, oribi, waterbuck, and Jackson hartebeest. The ride was pretty uneventful. When we got to Kampala, we stopped at a mall and went to banana boat. They sell African crafts. Many of the stuff they sell is similar to the market, but it is a little better quality and higher price. I also went to the grocery store that is in the mall. I wanted to buy some novida. It is a alcohol free pineapple malt. I did not buy very many because I already had a bunch of Stoneys to bring home. Stoney’s are a ginger beer (also non alcoholic). We all slowly made are way into the coffee shop to get drinks while waiting for the rest of the team to finish shopping. I could not decide between trying a strawberry or banana shake. Hannah told me to get the banana. I did and let her try if first since she suggested it. It tasted so good! Kinda like a banana cream pie, but not to much banana or sugar flavor. After dinner we were able to spend time with our friends after packing our bags (at least mostly). It was fun to spend time with them.
