Uganda 2025 Day 11

Uganda 2025 Day 11

Today I was in service and prayer again. I saw JoAnne and then Algena holding the baby of one of the world changers. I asked algena if I could hold her next. After a couple minutes she handed her over. She is the cutest little thing I think she is 2 months old. I could have kept holding her, but decided I should give the baby back. Soon, I saw Pastor George. I went to my bag and got out a “baby Jesus” for him. He loved it so much. I also grabbed the necklace Kassidee made for James. He loved it so much. George was jealous and tried to trade for it. Of course James said no. I took some photos with them too. They are some amazing young men of God and I am so happy I get to watch them grow in their relationship with him. I have known Pastor George for 11 years and met James (my son) last year. I walked downstairs and saw someone I recognized, but it took a couple seconds for my brain to register who it was. The person I saw was Nathan! My brother, Ben, sponsored Nathan in his university years. I said hi and gave him a big hug. He said he had missed me on Saturday. Nathan is part of the freedom projectz crew that was able to meet and talk with our team on Saturday, but I was in the van riding home from Karamoja. I explained this to him. After a short conversation, I went back upstairs and Nathan followed not long after. Emanuel (Emma) was my interpreter for the first one or two prayer groups, but Nathan came to join me. He interpreted for me the rest of the day. We were able to talk a little more between prayer and the next service. There were many people freed today after demons manifested there was a minimum of one in each service that I knew about, but in the last or second to last service, there were 3-4 people delivered.

Once back at the guest house, Chelsea and I washed some clothes. Hector caught us bucket washing and he let us borrow his bag for clothes washing. It is nice. You put water in it with soap and then mix the clothes a little to get them in the water. You close the bag, squeeze the air out and scrub for 30 seconds-3 minutes on the little washboard that is in it. Chelsea then started working on a project for JoAnne and I helped for a couple minutes before I stole Moses to have a conversation. We ended up talking about my birthday party that will be on my last day in Uganda. He wants to have a dress made for me to wear for the party. I told him he does not need to, but he said he wants to. The only thing I care about for my party is just to have them there. Before I went to bed, I ran downstairs to grab something and saw Linda and Ivan still in the living room. Linda said they were waiting in Phill because they were taking him to the airport. It was sad to have him go. He arrived late and left early, but I am so glad we had him in the team.
